Norman Noodle and Sally Stroodle’s First Official Zoodle Baking Lesson

As part of the friendship agreement between Earth and Planet Zoodle, Norman Noodle and Sally Stroodle promised to teach the Zoodles how to make their world-famous Noodle Stroodle Cake.

It sounded simple.

Unfortunately, the students were:

  • Evil Kidoodle
  • Voodoo Kidoodle
  • DooDoo Kidoodle
  • Dr. Quackadoodle

Simple disappeared almost immediately.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Welcome to Baking Class

The lesson began in the royal kitchen on Planet Zoodle.

Norman stood proudly beside a mixing bowl.

Sally arranged the ingredients.

The four Zoodles sat eagerly at the table.

“Today,” announced Sally, “we are going to make a Noodle Stroodle Cake.”

DooDoo politely applauded.

Dr. Quackadoodle took notes.

Voodoo brought a medical bag.

Evil brought a toolbox.

Norman immediately became concerned.

🍜 The Noodle Problem

“First,” said Norman, “add one package of noodles.”

DooDoo carefully poured in exactly one package.

“Perfect!” said Sally.

Then Evil dumped in six more.

“Why?” asked Norman.

“In case we get hungry.”

πŸ₯š The Egg Incident

“Now add three eggs,” Sally instructed.

DooDoo added three eggs.

Perfect.

Dr. Quackadoodle raised his hand.

“As a doctor, I have a question.”

“Yes?” asked Sally.

“If three eggs are good, wouldn’t thirty eggs be ten times better?”

Before anyone could answer, thirty eggs landed in the bowl.

SPLAT!

Norman slowly removed his glasses.

πŸͺ„ Voodoo Improves the Recipe

Voodoo examined the batter.

“Hmmm.”

“What now?” asked Norman nervously.

“In Accupunctadoodle Medicine, balance is very important.”

“This is a cake.”

“Exactly.”

He added a pinch of this.

A dash of that.

A sprinkle of something glowing purple.

“And what is that?” asked Sally.

Voodoo smiled.

“I’m not entirely sure.”

😈 Evil Tries to Help

Never trust a sentence that begins with:

“I have an idea.”

Especially if it comes from Evil Kidoodle.

While Sally wasn’t looking, Evil added:

  • Chocolate syrup
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Hot fudge
  • Caramel sauce
  • More chocolate syrup

“That’s not part of the recipe!” exclaimed Norman.

“It should be,” replied Evil.

πŸ’• DooDoo Saves the Day

Fortunately, DooDoo Kidoodle was actually paying attention.

While everyone else was experimenting, she carefully measured ingredients and followed every instruction.

“Thank goodness somebody is listening,” sighed Sally.

DooDoo smiled proudly.

Then Evil accidentally poured a bucket of rainbow sprinkles into her mixing bowl.

πŸ¦† Dr. Quackadoodle Gets Scientific

Dr. Quackadoodle peered into the batter.

“Interesting.”

“What?” asked Norman.

“I believe the cake may be under-quacked.”

“Under-quacked?”

“Terribly under-quacked.”

Before anyone could stop him, he stirred the batter with a giant wooden spoon while listening to it through a stethoscope.

“The cake appears healthy.”

“Well that’s good,” said Sally.

πŸŽ‚ Into the Oven

Somehow they finished mixing.

Somehow they poured the batter into a pan.

Somehow the pan fit inside the oven.

Norman wiped his forehead.

“See?” he said. “Everything worked out.”

At that exact moment, the oven began humming.

Then rattling.

Then singing.

🎡 “I’m a Noodle Stroodle Cake!”

The oven door flew open.

Steam poured into the room.

Purple sparkles floated everywhere.

Dr. Quackadoodle declared this completely normal.

Nobody believed him.

🍰 Success! …Sort Of

When the cake finally emerged, everyone stared.

It was enormous.

It was beautiful.

It was covered in swirls of frosting.

And somehow it had developed a smile.

“No,” said Sally.

“Cakes aren’t supposed to smile.”

The cake smiled anyway.

Norman cut a slice.

Everyone took a bite.

Silence filled the room.

Then:

“Wow!” said DooDoo.

“Remarkable!” said Dr. Quackadoodle.

“Outstanding!” said Voodoo.

“I told you the chocolate helped!” shouted Evil.

To Norman and Sally’s amazement, the cake was delicious.

Not exactly like a traditional Noodle Stroodle Cake.

Not even close.

But somehow delicious.

🎀 The Official Verdict

At the end of the lesson, Norman asked the four Zoodles what they had learned.

DooDoo:

“Follow the recipe.”

Dr. Quackadoodle:

“A healthy cake is a happy cake.”

Voodoo:

“Everything improves with mysterious spices.”

Evil:

“Chocolate counts as a vegetable.”

“No it doesn’t,” said Norman.

“It should,” replied Evil.

The baking lesson was declared a tremendous success.

The kitchen survived.

Nobody exploded.

And the Zoodles learned how to make Noodle Stroodle Cake.

Well…

Mostly. πŸ°πŸœπŸ˜‚πŸ‘‘πŸ₯’βœ¨
