Snoodles in Space: A Snoodle, the Zoodle Kidoodles, and One Happy Schmoodle

Snoodles in Space rockets readers into the next outrageous chapter of Steven Joseph’s award‑winning Snoodles universe—a place where noodle-powered inventions, cranky villains, and cosmic chaos collide in spectacular fashion.

This intergalactic adventure follows Herbie Snoodleman and his brilliantly bonkers creations as they face off against the mischievous Zoodles, a tentacled alien species with a flair for drama and a taste for trouble. With Andy Case’s vibrant, kinetic illustrations amplifying every laugh, explosion, and noodle-fuelled twist, the book transforms outer space into a playground of imagination.

Bursting with humour, heart, and high‑energy storytelling, Snoodles in Space expands the Snoodles mythology into the stars, proving that even across the galaxy, creativity—and a good bowl of noodles—can save the day.

The Snoodles Have Fans. Lots of Them.

I recently finished Snoodles in Space: A Snoodle, the Zoodle Kidoodles, and One Happy Schmoodle, and it is a must-read. Written by Steven Joseph and Andy Case, this book is a tongue-twisting, futuristic, and fun-filled children’s story that will captivate the minds of all the 7 to 10 year old readers out there. With its unique plot which follows Briana and Ricky’s parents being unexpectedly abducted by the inhabitants of Zoodle, this story takes readers on an exciting adventure with Sour Croodleman and Herbie Snoodleman as they strive to rescue their loved ones. The illustrations and storyline are entertaining and further enhance the reading experience, making this an ideal read-aloud or independent read for children. I particularly enjoyed how the author was able to take a simple story line and add a unique twist to it. The underlying message of the book was incredibly inspiring and definitely a great way to help spark kids’ creativity and get those creative juices flowing. Moreover, the colorful illustrations and funny way of saying things made me want to keep reading. Overall, this book is a great choice for any child and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique read to enjoy with your kiddo!

Snoodles in Space by Steven Joseph is a silly, imaginative and super fun read that my grandchildren really enjoyed. They marveled at the idea of an entire family working together in time of crisis to save the world. They absolutely adored the humor throughout the storyline as well as the colorful and highly thought out characters. I must admit that they felt a strong connection with the characters Briana Brainy Noodle and her brother Ricky Rockadoodle. Although laughing hard as we read was so much fun but for me, the science theme was a major plus. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This entertaining book is written in the style of a comic book and takes its readers on a thrilling journey through space where they encounter many challenges and learn important lessons along the way. The story is hilarious, but it’s really a satire that the whole family can enjoy. The illustrations compliment the text and make this an excellent choice for a young reader. This is a fantastic book that everyone should read.

Imagine coming home from school to a note that says your parents have been abducted by alien and will be forced to perform brain surgery! That’s exactly what happens to Briana and Ricky in this zany story! Funny and a bit strange. Kids will love it!
