EPISODE 2 is just as zany and fun as the first volume. I enjoyed it as an adult and kids will love the silly names for everything and the wacky story and adventure. The characters learn from mistakes and demonstrate positive qualities we want our children to develop. The artwork is fantastic.
~ N GlassAuthorOverall, I can’t sing this book’s praises enough, nor the whole series for that matter; it’s a guaranteed hit that will be read until the pages are dog-eared and tattered! Also, the thought of the absurdly fun pretend play that will result from this series fills me with so much joy; the fun won’t just fizzle out when the book is closed, it will fuel the imagination of all who enter the whacky world of the Snoodles!
~ Louise JaneCEO The Golden Wizard Book PrizeSnoodles in Space: Escape from Zoodletraz! by Steven Joseph is another action-packed adventure centered around the people of Noodleham and their journey into the galaxy to rescue Droodle the Poodle and Schmoodle the Poodle from Zoodletraz, an inescapable place for pets deemed illegal on Zoodle.
~ Entrada Book ReviewI like that this story reads so well allowed. It is a lighted hearted read that is fun when read by an adult to children. The story shows examples of how to work through crankiness weaved throughout the humorous plot. Younger children will struggle with words so this book should be read to a younger audience, but not so young they miss the crankiness message.
~ Mark ShryockAuthorThe illustrations in this book are absolutely amazing and they made me so hungry for noodles! Big shout-out to the illustrator for bringing this story to life. The story is super creative, with noodles powering cars, and by the time you get home, there’s a fresh bowl of noodles waiting for you. How awesome is that? The character names are also really clever like Noodle McDoodle and Weiner Schnoodle. I love the important message about keeping the air clean and not stressing too much about solving problems, because sometimes help comes from the most unexpected people. This would be a fantastic read-aloud for kids and I’m sure it will bring lots of laughs.
~ Rella BAuthorSnoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles, and Lots and Lots of Noodles by Steven Joseph, illustrated by Andy Case, is a children’s book with silly names and inventions that will make children laugh. Inside the fun of the story are lessons about the evils of jealousy and revenge, and the simplicity of happiness. Young readers will enjoy examining the details in the illustrations and considering the possibilities of the story’s events. This book is a great book for parents to introduce new concepts, or just have fun being silly while reading aloud..
~ Lisa Cobb SabatiniAuthorI recently finished Snoodles in Space: A Snoodle, the Zoodle Kidoodles, and One Happy Schmoodle, and it is a must-read. Written by Steven Joseph and Andy Case, this book is a tongue-twisting, futuristic, and fun-filled children’s story that will captivate the minds of all the 7 to 10 year old readers out there. With its unique plot which follows Briana and Ricky’s parents being unexpectedly abducted by the inhabitants of Zoodle, this story takes readers on an exciting adventure with Sour Croodleman and Herbie Snoodleman as they strive to rescue their loved ones. The illustrations and storyline are entertaining and further enhance the reading experience, making this an ideal read-aloud or independent read for children.
I particularly enjoyed how the author was able to take a simple story line and add a unique twist to it. The underlying message of the book was incredibly inspiring and definitely a great way to help spark kids’ creativity and get those creative juices flowing. Moreover, the colorful illustrations and funny way of saying things made me want to keep reading.~ Lilfetz22Amazon ReviewerSnoodles in Space by Steven Joseph is a silly, imaginative and super fun read that my grandchildren really enjoyed. They marveled at the idea of an entire family working together in time of crisis to save the world. They absolutely adored the humor throughout the storyline as well as the colorful and highly thought out characters. I must admit that they felt a strong connection with the characters Briana Brainy Noodle and her brother Ricky Rockadoodle.
Although laughing hard as we read was so much fun but for me, the science theme was a major plus. I look forward to reading more from this author.~ Agnes OquendoAmazon ReviewerWhat a fun book! This book is hilarious and beautifully illustrated. My kids loved it and enjoyed reading it with all kinds of funny expressions. They laughed so hard when the poodle made its entry, and saved the day. All in all, this is a brilliant book!
